Where and how to get a Marriage Licence in Ontario?

COVID changed all the rules. What used to be a simple procedure to obtain a Marriage Licence now requires planning. It used to be: walk-in, fill out the application, show your ID, pay the fee, and walk out with the marriage licence (which is good for 90 days).

Now, many municipalities require an online application, an appointment to show your ID, and then a follow-up appointment to pick up your Licence. And the procedures and licence fees vary from town to town.

Here is a list of municipal locations/websites where to start. You can get your Marriage Licence from any town/city in Ontario and it is good for the entire province. The licence is good for only 90 days. The costs shown here are approximate.
